Astrologically the last quarter of the calendar year is a time of endings, when our beloved plant kingdom begins to recede and many of the plants go dormant or die back to the roots or extinguish entirely—leaving their seeds for the coming spring.  Like them, we (our bodies) are made of the earth elements, and like the plants flourish in the sun’s light and warmth. Now the body quiets and activities tend to slow down. We spend more time inside the house, inside our spirit self. This is a time of reflection. There is a reason we have made new year’s resolutions. The reflections of the past year can leave wishes, seeds, dreams for the coming NEW year.

How about a review for this year so far. Several sites told us this is the midpoint of the 2020’s and after 2020 it was to be the most active year astrologically. The big news was the shifting of the outer planets (those with the largest orbit being furthest from the sun center—Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) changing signs all in the same year. Many astrologers say that “symbolizes deeper processes and more complete transformations for larger swaths of the population.” The effects have generational influences. They also provide “overarching rhythm of environmental shifts.”   Chronogram.com

Another site AdvancedAstrology.com adds that this outer planet shift indicates—”We’re going from a long cycle of slow, steady earth and water energy over to fire and air signs, which move faster, are spurred by ideas, quick to act and react, and will shift global communications and alliances.” All planets will officially be in their new homes by May 2026, which is when the stories that are being teased in 2025 will have full expression. Many astrologers are calling the spring of 2026 The Great Reset. But, 2025 is still a pivotal year for breaking up, and unearthing the last stubborn bits of structure, system, and organization that obstruct new foundations that need building. We’re in a construction zone—expect more chaos, confusion, and red herrings.
