In astrology today we are particularly sensitive to the transits—the movement of the astrological bodies as they pass through each moment in time. All the planets are beginning new cycles this year. Reading about this from several sites, this is my conclusion: This has so far shown us something we have never seen before. We will be inspired and challenged toward something unprecedented from within each of us.

Events affecting us in the period March through June:

NORTH NODE

We continue with the influence of North Node traveling through Pisces until August 18. Meanwhile the SOUTH NODE in Virgo balances it. This encourages us to immerse ourselves in spirituality. We are reminded that compassion and love heal, forgiveness is medicine, and honoring another is honoring oneself.

Venus Retrograde

Venus went retrograde on March 1 and will continue for 40 more days. Theoretically during a retrograde period—the planet of course does not actually reverse direction but from earth perspective it appears to. During that period the energy seems to intensify or concentrate. This is a time we review, reassess, or return to past events related to the planet. Venus is our closest planetary neighbor and is one of the brightest planetary bodies in the sky. Venus brings passion and is deeply associated with the mythological goddess of love. Venus embodies attributes of beauty, pleasure, romance and affection. There is a clear connection in relationships, finances, and art. Time to reconnect with our desires, inspiration and embody our own self-worth. Release old hurts and feel the ever-present unconditional love.

Neptune in Aries

Neptune shifted from Pisces where it has been since 2011, and moved into Aries on March 30. This shift in space brings amplification of intuition and sacred imagination. In this time, dreams can be actualized, intuition is heightened. Time to explore how those feel in your body, and how we express these or manifest them. This energy in Aries has not been present for more than 160 years. Jordane Maree says “Expect major shifts to take place.”

Saturn in Aries

Saturn moves into Aries on May 24 bringing legacy, responsibility, and grounded action.This planetary archetype attracts commitment, devotion, and discipline. This adds a long view commitment and manifestation energy. This calls for personal authority, self-responsibility, courage, and resilience.    This calls for us to recognize and accept and embrace our destiny to manifest. Then the energy is withdrawn and will return stronger in 2026, when we will reassess where we are and are going.

Jupiter in Cancer

Jupiter starts a yearlong cycle in Cancer, beginning June 9.   Jupiter invites healing, expansion, and advancement in any sign. Specifically, when in Cancer we get emotional healing. We are invited to travel inward looking at familial patterns and lineages, our childhood experiences. We have an opportunity to safely nurture our sensitivities and innermost needs. Expansive energy enhances connection and emotional intelligence, intuition and inner fulfillment.
