I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the inaugural issue of Visionary Viewpoints. We are extremely excited that you are choosing to join us on this adventure. I asked the question above because it relates to our purpose for publishing. We hope to gather authors and readers together to explore Aquarian ideals, and to ignite ideas that change the world.
I imagine you might be asking, why would I want to live like an Aquarian? That seems like a good question. But you ARE an Aquarian because our Sun has now moved into the influence of the constellation of Aquarius, after having lived under the influence of Pisces for over 2000 years. That’s a big deal, not only because it happens only once in two thousand years, but especially because Pisces and Aquarius have two entirely different “personalities.”

The Piscean Era began at roughly the time of Jesus birth. Imagine what life was like then. Now compare that to life now. I’m sure you can see; a lot has changed in the intervening 2000 years. The Piscean Age has been described as the Age of Faith but is also known as the time of idealism. The kind of idealism that caused the establishment of world religions like Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Idealism inspired the French Revolution, the Revolutionary War and philosophical movements like Platonism, and Transcendentalism. The Piscean Age is when we created the radicalized versions of family values, conservatism, and liberalism. That is expected, since at the end of every Age, the energy degenerates. In the case of Pisces, we fell into extremism, consumerism, and materialism. Our ideals have become IDOLS. Ideals are motivating and have a designated purpose, but when they become too rigid, they stop progress and need adjustment. We need ideals, but we need to soften them when we begin to worship the ideal.
By comparison, the Aquarian Age is characterized as an Age of Reason, but also based on free choice. Some astrologers say, the Aquarian Age will see the blending of religion and science to such a degree that a religious science and a scientific religion will be formed–each respecting and learning from the findings of the other–which will promote health, happiness, and enjoyment of life. It would be great if these predictions come true, but given our starting point, how will we get there? We’ve got a lot to learn. We have no guideposts or experience in these energies to know for sure how we’ll adapt. Humanity was in its “cradle” the last time we experienced the Aquarian age. Homo Sapiens were only aware of body sensations during the last Aquarian age, 24,000 years ago. We had no capacity to reason and make choices until much later in our evolution. In the ensuing 24,000 years, humanity has become a “Thinker” with an ability to make choices. Now we can choose how we will respond in the 21st century and beyond, but will we make enlightened choices?
Many religions are looking for a Savior to “save the day.” They are relying on faith, much like they were expecting Christ, when he came, “to save the world.” He even said it, but is it possible we have misinterpreted his claim? What did he really mean? His life did spark a movement that became a world religion, but humanity “sins” as much today as they did back then. People remain in bondage today, just like the Israelites were in bondage to Rome. What has really changed? Some say, “We (humanity) are the ones we have been waiting for.” Is it possible Jesus showed the way by setting an example? Are we embarking on a future of true freedom, seeking to satisfy a deep-seated mission to be the best we can and help humanity in the process?
Ageless Wisdom supports the idea of the Reappearance of the Christ. He came to set an example, just as a parent sets the example for their child/children to grow up to be healthy, capable, and caring members of society. He came 2000 years ago to show humanity “The Way,” not to do it for us! It is said He can’t return until the vibration of the planet is high enough to accommodate his vibration. Just as a seed cannot grow unless it has air, water and light, humanity must provide a fertile environment for the “Reappearance.” How do we do that? Some guidance is offered by the Ageless Wisdom, called the Seven Fundamental Principles of the Aquarian Age. These are concepts of “right human relations” found today in the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. They include concepts like, freedom of choice, inclusiveness of all, orderly progression, fairness for everyone, the right to education, the right to worship and the right to constructive boundaries. These can provide a basic framework for us to work from. A BIG ask, I know, but we have two thousand years to do it.
I know it’s a “downer” to think Christ won’t be coming until we have prepared our world to meet His vibration, but together we can. It will be much easier for those born after 1987, but those of us with Piscean roots are determined to free ourselves of the past and make the world a better place. Let’s explore this unknown territory together!
Thank you for considering these ideas, take what you like and consider the rest “interesting” if you wish. I know some may be a little unsettling, if so, it’s because you are a “Thinker” and I applaud you for that. We invite you to ask questions and share your ideas via our email visionsaryviewpoints@yahoo.com
